Beginners courses ..

We provide two training courses for beginners each year, it is a condition of the GNAS (the governing body of archery in the UK) that attendance on such a course is required before you can become a member of any archery club.

All archery clubs put safety formost, it is essential that anyone wishing to learn archery is given tution in both the art of shooting, and the safety aspects of the sport. The courses we run at Knebworth are fun, but must be taken seriously - archery isn't dangerous, but it could be.

Numbers on these courses are strictly limited to 25 students per course, this ensures both safety, and the quality of the training you receive.

The cost of the four sessions (two afternoons for two weekends) is a total of £35. On the last afternoon of the course (the second Sunday) we usually hold a 'fun shoot' and a barbeque (er.. weather permitting of course).
